March 2012 7 EW Feature 편집자 인사말 Letter from the Editor 안 녕하십니까? 아이월드(EyeWorld) 한국어판 편집책임자 차흥원입니다. EyeWorld Asis-Pacific edition을 번역하여 발행한 것도 벌써 세 번째를 맞이하게 되었습니다. 특히 이번 EyeWorld 한국어판 3호는 아시아 태평양지역의 최고 권위 안과학술대회인 APAO Busan과 시기를 같이 하여 발행하게 되었습니다. 또한 이번 호에는 영어원문을 번역한 article 뿐만 아니라 우리 나라의 원고인 “한태원선생님의 고도근시에서의 Phakic Lens 삽입”에 대한 글이 게재됨으로써 그 의의가 더욱 크다고 할 수 있습니다. EyeWorld 한국어판이 세계적인 흐름을 보다 빨리 인식하고 한국의 학술적 우수성을 널리 알릴 수 있는 통로의 장으로서 자리매김하게 되기를 기원하면서, 선생님들의 따뜻한 관심과 참여에 감사 드립니다. 2012년 4월 아이월드 한국어판 편집책임자 차흥원 This is the third issue of the EyeWorld Korea , translating EyeWorld Asia-Pacific . In particular, this third issue is published at the time of APAO Busan, which is one of the most prestigious Asia- Pacific Ophthalmology conferences. In addition to articles translated from EyeWorld Asia-Pacific , this issue also includes an original Korean article by Dr. Tae-Won Han. So this issue is particularly significant. Hopefully, EyeWorld Korea will be renowned as the main channel for cutting edge knowledge and for introducing Korea’s academic excellence.
