One popular spot is The Broad muse- um, which opened in Fall 2015. The Infinity Mirrored Room is one popular attraction at the museum. Other LA museums include the Natural History Museum , the Hammer Museum , the Los Angeles County Museum of Art , and the Museum of Contemporary Art . The California Science Center is also a popular attraction with the Space Shuttle Endeavour, the last ship to be built in the NASA space shuttle program. You don’t want to miss the Hollywood Walk of Fame , where stars with your favorites celebrities’ names line the street. Also nearby are the TCL Chinese Theatre and Dolby Theatre . You may want to visit the famous Hollywood Sign . Best viewpoints may be from outside the city center, particularly from Griffith Ob- servatory. There are also numerous hiking trails in the area for even closer viewing options. Just about 30 miles from downtown Los Angeles is Anaheim, home to Disneyland. You may want to take the time to visit the park (or Disney California Adventure Park, which is also located here). If it’s theme parks you’re looking for, you can visit Universal Studios Hollywood , located in Universal City, just outside of downtown Los Angeles. You may also want to venture out to the famous Santa Monica Pier . About 10–15 miles outside of downtown Los Angeles, this beachfront attraction features restaurants, shopping, and an amusement park. The La Brea Tar Pits are another interesting attraction in Los Angeles in the Hancock Park area. Asphalt has seeped up from the ground in this area for thousands of years and has also preserved the bones of many animals. Excavations of the area are ongoing. The tar pits and museum are open daily.
