The symposium will examine and provide updates on the evolving trends and innovations in ophthalmol- ogy with which optometrists, opticians, and other allied health professionals need to keep abreast to aid in counseling patien- ts and customers and recommending suitable solutions or treatment options. MasterClasses & Instruction Courses Today, the APACRS will be holding its MasterClasses on Track 1 in parallel with SNEC Instruction Courses on Track 2. The MasterClasses cover “Mastering Refractive Surgery Com- plications,” from 13:00 to 14:25hrs (all times UTC+8); “Master- ing Biometry,” from 14:30 to 15:55 hrs; “Mastering Toric IOLs,” from 16:00 to 17:25 hrs; “Mastering IOL Fixation,” from 17:30 to 18:55 hrs; “Mastering Vitrectomy for Anterior Segment Sur- geons,” from 19:00 to 20:25 hrs; and “Mastering Phakic IOLs,” from 20:30 to 22:00 hrs. The SNEC Instruction Courses cover “How (and When) Not to Do MIGS – A Journey through Complications,” from 13:00 to 14:25 hrs; “Managing the Posterior Segment in Cataract Surgery,” from 14:30 to 15:55 hrs; “Managing Ocular Trauma – A Multidisciplinary Approach,” from 16:00 to 17:25 hrs; and “Managing Myopia Treatment,” from 17:30 to 18:55 hrs. The Top 10 scorers will win free registration to attend the 34th APACRS annual meeting jointly organized with the Korean Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery in Seoul, South Korea, to be held from 10 to 12 June 2022. Another 10 free registrations to attend the 34th APACRS annual meeting will be given away by lucky draw at the end of the meeting for ALL registered delegates who have attended the meeting.
